Here in the new year I have been striving to make dreams come true. I recently got connected with JaJa studio's to get the new Skutt kiln rockin-n-rollin. Now that Cozy has both a test kiln and a full size work moster we can really start cranking out pottery! I look forward to many new drops of pottery coming in the new year. I've got a large body of work to finish glazing, I'm super excited to be sharing whats been going on at Cozy in the past couple months.
The newest addition to the studio is this amazing little Firebox kiln from skutt. It’s very petite 8”x8”x6” but this little guy puts out the heat. I’ve thrown some test mugs in see how cone 6 fires and it did great. This is my first batch of greenware going in to make some test tiles. I’ve got loads of new glazes to explore, this week we should have some great tiles to show off the new glazes and kiln programing.
